How It Works
The Repair Process
01
Estimate
Step 1: The Estimate
An estimate should be done prior to repairs to determine the approximate cost of the repair. We offer this service at no cost. We will honor all insurance estimates and will notify them if it is incomplete or if there is hidden damage present. Because of our honesty, quality of work and customer satisfaction, we are a preferred shop for many of the major insurance companies.
02
Liability
Step 2: Liability
It is important for the shop as well as the customer to know who is responsible for payment of repairs to your vehicle. In the case of a supplement, approval is needed before work to repair your vehicle can be continued.
03
Repair
Step 3: Repair
All parts on the estimate will be ordered. Your vehicle will go through a “tear down” or disassembly of the damaged parts.
If frame damage is present, your vehicle goes on the frame rack. We use a Genesis Computerized Laser Measuring System to ensure all structural repairs are done to correct specifications.
Body and metal repairs are made. All painted panels, lights, molding, trim and glass are installed.
04
Pre-Delivery
Step 4: Pre-Delivery
We will test drive your vehicle to be sure all components of the repair were done properly. Then your vehicle is detailed — washed and cleaned. Final Quality Inspection performed to our highest standards.
05
Delivery
Step 5: Delivery
When you arrive to pick up your vehicle, you will be given a copy of the repair order and a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Otto Works warranties all body repairs and paint for as long as you own your vehicle. Any parts replaced carry a Manufacturer warranty — usually twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles.
